Insurance Underwriter Underwriting Surety Contract Surety Bonds Construction Surety Commercial Insurance License & Permit bonds Bid, performance and payment bonds Commercial performance bonds Large appeal court bonds _ .

Produce and retain a profitable book of business consistent with overall Surety Bond Insurance strategies and objectives by underwriting new and renewal business within company appetite.

*** Develop agency sales and business plans.

*** Achieve budgeted financial results.

*** Leverage agent and broker relationships to drive new business opportunities via existing relationships; continually prospect for new opportunities.

*** Manage submission and underwriting process.

*** Manage flow of new and renewal business.

*** Assess risk to determine whether account is within underwriting appetite.

*** Underwrite small to mid-size renewals and new business items in conjunction with busines unit strategies to maximize profitability.

*** Review key metrics and financial information to makes decisions regarding pricing, capacity, terms and conditions for complex accounts.

*** Maintain accurate underwriting documentation and information.

*** Meet quality assurance standards.
